Background: Teen Wolf Event Calendar - Season 1 [Teen Wolf]

Back when I was writing "Proud of You," I needed to know when the events of the Season 1 occurred. So, being the kind of fan I am, I attempted to map them. Some of the dates are best-guesses based on comments in episodes (e.g. the party is on Friday), some are best-guesses based on what dates exist, and some are verified by in-canon date markers.

This whole thing is done to the best of my observational ability. Errors and oversights will gladly be corrected. However, I'm not the one who thinks that the full moon actually occurs once a month.

This is still very much a work-in-progress.

So they are coming back from winter break (that's three weeks, right?)? I always thought the pilot took place the day before the first day of school, that they where starting there sophomore year? Huh.

Winter break in American public schools usually barely exists. Most schools are lucky to get a week off. Apparently Beacon Hills High gets a much longer break.

Most fans assumed that. I went it being in the winter, initially, because it's clearly cold and that doesn't match September in California. Then there's the parent/teacher conferences. It wouldn't make any sense to have them in the third week of school, but it is normal to have them after the return from winter break. Finally, the producer said the show was set over about a month-and-a-half's worth of time, and once I saw the date on Allison's phone in "Night School," everything else backdated from there to make the series be set in the spring semester.

This is amazing!!!! I now realizes a horrible inaccuracy in fic (hides shame) ....though clearly people making flyers at that school don't know where they are or when dances are....though could be old flyer when dance was rescheduled.... Awesome work!
