Thoughts

The genre of this bingo game was right up my alley and most of the prompts were ones I found intriguing and thought provoking. Unfortunately, that seems to be true for a lot of fanworkers. The competition in this game was incredible; people were posting full blackouts within a couple weeks of the cards going live. While I had originally also set out to a blackout on my card, it quickly became apparent that I had no hope of competing for points, which did strip some of the fun out.

Somewhere around the start of November, I turned my focus toward blacking out the angst bingo card instead and let this one languish. In the end, I did post a double parallels bingo, though that was mostly to validate the effort and use up as many finished fills as I could. Since I'd worked the card with a blackout goal, my filling had been piecemeal, which made it difficult to pull together a complete bingo at the end. All that said, I really enjoy the stories that came out of the game and I would consider signing up for it again.
