The response to my rant has been incredible. I posted it feeling like I was speaking for myself and maybe one or two other people and immediately discovered otherwise.

Yes, which is a sure way to kill the fandom. We should be working to bring people in, to make the fandom bigger and more inclusive.
Then I started to feel kind of pressured.
I know what you mean, and I'm sorry if I contributed in any way to making you feel pressured.
There was so much on so few of us to prop up our end that, if it hadn't been the promise of a second season, we all would have burned out and quit. Yet, it's the efforts that those few of us put in that helped sustain any energy at all.
I support a revolution of this fandom!
I think one has started. I'm already noticing a change. Let's hope the wave continues.
