Dear Crossovering writer:
Thank you so much for signing up for this exchange and for agreeing to write me a story. Crossovers are one of my favorite types of fanfic, so I can't wait to see what you come up with.
I have some information below on what I like and don't like in stories. Use what you want, but know that I know that optional details are optional. I've also thrown together some prompts. Again, if they inspire you, they're yours; if not, then I'd love to see what you come up with. With a few exceptions, I've given no or little thought to how these crossovers might work, so your interpretation is my new headcanon. In those cases where I have given the crossover some thought, I'm always eager to see something else's interpretation of how the crossover will work. Alternatively, if you like what I've done and want to build on it, I'm cool with that, too.

Plot. Stories without a conflict and resolution are great (and I’ve written more than a few!), but if you ask me the one thing that will truly make me bounce with joy: it’s plot. My tastes in plot are about as wide open as they can be. I love h/c, drama, angst, friendship, family, schmoop, casefic, humor, and practically everything else, too.
Character exploration and strong characterization. Who the characters are and how these specific characters are going to act and react in a scenario are what drives a story for me.
Secrets. The common thread of my fandoms is that at least one of the characters has superpowers (or a superstate) that s/he/they have to keep secret from the world at large. I love secrets. I love seeing them kept and the cost that keeping secrets invariably has. I also love when a decision is made (or circumstances conspire) to bring the secret to light. And I love to watch the fallout.
Relationships of all stripes. If you want to include pairings, het, slash, or poly are all fine. If you prefer gen, then I'm good with that too. I like all kinds of relationships, with strong friendships and parent-child as two of my favorites.
Favored tropes include: Trapped!, Running Out of Time, Unexpected Allies, Secret Identity Revealed/Discovered, and Friends With Benefits
If you happen to be playing in one of the various bingo games out there and you'd like to double up on a prompt (or two or three) for that with this, let's see it!
Dislikes
PWPs. Sexual activity (e.g. kissing, petting), UST, sexual tension, and romance are always fine, but I would prefer them to be part of the story and not the whole story (anything up through an R-rating is good).
Character assassination and/or bashing.
Torture!porn. Despite my love of h/c, I don’t like torture-for-the-sake-of-torture (e.g. the Saw movies).
AUs of the coffee shop/bakery/mechanic/all!human style.
Extreme jealousy. For example: stories where someone mis-overhears something, gets wildly upset, and refuses to address the issue; I’d like to think my favorite characters are more mature than that.
Sterek.
Permanent character maiming or death.
I'd also request no full-fusions, such as the Teen Wolf characters taking over the roles of the Leverage gang. Partial fusions, such as a non-Highlander character becoming Immortal, are perfectly fine.
Arrow/Highlander
One of the bad guys on Oliver's list is Immortal and Oliver needs the help of his new bartender/bodyguard/friend to help take him down. If only he knew why his arrow didn't work the first time and that his friend could help.
Felicity discovers that she has no need for Oliver to protect her after all.
Arrow/Leverage
The survivors of the Undertaking come after Queen Consolidated with some help from their crack team of criminals-gone-good.
Hardison and Felicity end up at cross-purposes when a Leverage mission and an Arrow mission turn out to be two sides of the same event.
Arrow/The Listener
Felicity and Dev meet at a convention, get stuck together during a workshop, and very carefully don't discuss the respective weirdness in their lives.
ARGUS tries to recruit Toby. Michelle and Dev are not impressed.
Arrow/Spider-Man
J. Jonah Jameson decides that Spider-Man isn't selling enough papers. But, that vigilante guy out in Starling City? Why he's some prime material.
Oscorp goes after the mirakuru, and Gwen does everything she can to make sure they don't get it.
Arrow/Teen Wolf
Jackson and Roy: The Prince and the Pauper.
Oliver tried to stop killing. He really did. Sometimes, though, he can't avoid it. And every time he does, this strange red-head is lurking nearby. Lydia, on the other hand, is just trying to pass her college admittance interviews, so why does she keep getting drawn to parts of town she'd never step foot in willingly?
Arrow/Tomorrow People
Look, Quentin's been charged with investigating a lot of strange things, but a rash of teens who have actually vanished into thin air has to take the cake. Nothing like this has ever happened before, so why does Oliver seem to know more than he's letting on?
Felicity didn't mean to hack that supercomputer she "accidentally" found (except, of course, she totally did). So, color her really surprised when it starts to hack her right back. (aka, TIM and Felicity bond, and TIM psychoanalyzes her life.)
Being Human (US)/The Listener
Aiden ends up in the IIB interrogation room for a crime (your choice on whether he committed it). While at first it looks like a routine case, Toby is completely unprepared for what he "reads."
A chance encounter with Nora reveals to Toby that Charlie's ghost is haunting him, and her unfinished business may be tied to his abandoned search for his mother.
Being Human (US)/Psych
Enough carefully worded police reports about the crime wave in Boston, and it's inevitable that Shawn would get involved. He drags Gus and Juliet all the way to the other coast to prove his theory about Sapp & Sons, then really wishes he hadn't when vampires is, indeed, the right answer. Now it's up to Aiden and Sally to protect Shawn, who still hasn't learned when to leave well enough alone.
Gus accidentally witnesses Josh and Nora changing during the full moon, and spends the next month convinced that he's acquired their curse. (hint: he hasn't).
Being Human (US)/Tomorrow People
One of the Tomorrow People gets turned into a vampire and ends up in Josh and Nora's care—because what other place is there for a vampire who can't kill?
Kat thought that breaking up with Aiden was the end of dealing with the supernatural. So, she's really thrown for a loop when one of her freshman confides in her about his/her development of superpowers.
Highlander/Leverage
While researching a new target, Hardison discovers that s/he has a very long history.
Eliot and Methos meet in a bar and bond over an antique sword and their roles in the overturning of governments.
Highlander/The Listener
The IIB is charged with solving a cold case from at least 40 years ago. The problem is, the top suspect hadn't been born then. Or had s/he?
One of the really old Immortals (e.g. Methos/Ceirdwyn/Cassandra/Amanda) comes under IIB scrutiny as a suspect in an identity fraud scam.
Highlander/Teen Wolf
The new teacher at Beacon Hills High turns out to be not-so-much evil as very, very old and with little patience for were-beings.
It turns out that Allison was adopted. This comes as a surprise to everyone, second only in shock to her waking up in the morgue.
Highlander/Tomorrow People
One of the Tomorrow People (John?) becomes Immortal. Methos remembers the last time that happened, and he's not about to let what happened then, happen again.
Stephen sets out to get to know his classmate Richie Ryan after "overhearing" some very odd thoughts. Meanwhile, Richie is being hunted by an K'Immie who thinks that kidnapping Stephen and holding him hostage is a good idea.
Leverage/Spider-Man
Aunt May knows that Oscorp is up to no good, and she has all the proof she needs. What she doesn't have is the money or legal support to rival theirs. All she needs is a little Leverage.
Peter and Parker (ha!) both have a love of tall buildings and hanging upside down. The first time they run into each other is an accident. After that, though, one or the other always has a reason. Even if the reasons aren't the strongest.
Leverage/Tomorrow People
A victim of ULTRA's power-removal serum (Kurt?) tries to recruit some help to take them down. But, how do you convince someone that your beef with a corporation is that they took away your superpowers?
Nate knew John had something special going for him; he wouldn't try to recruit him otherwise. Little did he know exactly how special John is.
The Listener/Psych
It's Shawn vs. Toby on a case: One a fake psychic, the other quite real, and both determined to keep the other from finding out the truth.
The IIB crosses paths with Pierre Despereaux, famed international art-thief, who seems to find being under Toby's scrutiny very amusing.
The Listener/Teen Wolf
While on a lacrosse team trip to Toronto, someone on the team gets suspected of a crime (your choice on whether he committed it). The more Toby interviews the team members, the more he discovers that several of them have some very strange ideas about what happened.
Jackson is Toby's long-missing younger brother.
The Listener/Tomorrow People
Toby runs into someone who isn't surprised that he can read minds, rather that he can only read minds.
Toby gets caught in an ULTRA sweep. How can he convince them that he's not what they're looking for, when the only way he could know what they're looking for is if he'd read their mind?
Psych/Tomorrow People
Shawn knows that magic powers aren't real. So what's he supposed to do when he comes up against a stage magician (Monty the Magnificent?) whose tricks actually do defy any other explanation?
Witnesses in a street kids' case keep disappearing. Juliet and Shawn need to figure out where they're going and how to get them back because they need those testimonies. And who are those other people (John, Cara, Stephen) they keep seeing in the same area? The ones who are decidedly not street kids, and who seem to have some connection to the vanishing witnesses?
Spider-Man/Tomorrow People
Stephen and Peter share a college class, which should be the sum total of their relationship, until one of Peter's concealed cameras for taking pictures of Spider-Man also captures Stephen using his powers.
Oscorp tries to pick up where ULTRA left off, and it's up to Peter and the Tomorrow People to stop them.
Tomorrow People/Teen Wolf
The villain-of-the-week captures one of our non-supernatural teens (Danny?), and it looks like all hope is lost on rescuing him/her until a certain set of genetic mutations suddenly kick in.
Melissa and Marla meet at a nursing convention, get taken hostage, save the day, and bond over the difficulties of being single moms to super-powered sons.
BONUS
In the process of settling on requests, a lot of fandom shuffling happened, which resulted in a few prompts getting cut because they were no longer eligible. I'm throwing them here just in case.
Arrow/Psych
Shawn attaches himself to the Starling City police department in hopes of cracking the vigilante case once and for all. Yet, for all his observational skills, he has never been more wrong.
Gus is kidnapped, held hostage, and rescued by the Arrow. Shawn is never going to believe this! No, really; there's no way he's ever going to convince Shawn that it actually happened.
Leverage/Teen Wolf
While attempting to use the Beacon Hills Hospital during one of their scams, the Leverage team's mission is compromised by the unexpected arrival of a gang of teenagers who have their own score to settle with same target.
Spider-Man/Teen Wolf
Peter's not exactly a were-spider, but the Nemeton summons him to Beacon Hills anyway because Spider, Wolf, same difference, right?
Scott and Stiles are in New York scouting colleges when they discover that the Alpha Pack has nothing on the Sinister Six.
I've tried to keep things open-ended with my extra info. If you have any questions, my tumblr has a really lonely ask box with anon turned on. You can also check in with htbthomas, who knows my tastes and knows how to keep a secret.
Thank you again!
