Post the first sentence (or three) from every WIP you're currently working on, even if it's very short. Then invite people to ask questions about your WIPs. With any luck, you'll get talking about writing, and the motivation to take that WIP one step closer to completion will appear as if by magic!
Only fic WIPs that are more-or-less actively on the radar are being included below. Even that list is not complete as they're scattered across several different computers. Note that some of my WIPs aren't even developed enough to meet the criterium of having first lines.
“Do you remember what it was like after Stiles was born?” Melissa asked. She glanced at the playing cards in her hand, shuffled the order of a couple of them to make it easier to see what she held. (Teen Wolf, AU Bingo)
“Every kid in the world could be a Tomorrow Person,” Adam had said, and Lisa had known that he was right. Every kid could be. Every kid would be, in time. The ship had moaned loudly after Adam’s pronouncement as if confirming what he’d had to say, though no one ever knew for sure if the ship understood them or would ever be able to make itself understandable, to tell them more or help them figure out what to do next. (Tomorrow People, AU Bingo)

Allison stepped in front of her mirror as she wound the scarf around her neck. The scarf was bright red and hand-woven from a knotted yard. It was her favorite, all fuzzy and soft against her skin. The mirror was a full-length one, hanging on the back of the bedroom door. (Teen Wolf, AU Bingo)
Scott wasn’t sure why he agreed to the night at Jackson’s house. Jackson insisted that it was tradition, bonding. “The first line always does this before State,” he said, as if Scott were too stupid to have figured that out himself. “Just the first line,” the older boy added. The subtext was obvious: Stiles was not invited. (Teen Wolf, Werewolf Big Bang)
Idea: Chris Argent backstory as he reflects on the friend he had to kill.
