Oh, God. I totally understand everything you're saying. You're one of the people who made it possible for me to stick with the fandom as long as I did, and despite that I still suffered some pretty major burnout. There are a couple fan-people bridges I haven't reopened yet because I just haven't had the energy, even tho the people involved didn't do anything and don't deserve the silence.
More recently, I wandered onto tumblr. That was a mistake. Now I'm working on recovering from that. I got in with a group of Scott fans who have somehow decided that turnabout is fair play, so they were loudly vocal about their hatred of Stiles, as if that's a useful way to fan. I've now divorced them.
Your timing is really good :) I could use more people in my fanlife who are excited about the show and all the characters, and who love Scott. Also, I'm glad you found your way back. The show is just so good.
